Take the First Step
It’s not always easy to understand what you’re going through. Therapy offers a space to talk things through and begin to make sense of it.
Common Questions About Therapy
The first session is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with. We can begin to explore your situation at a pace that feels manageable. It is also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and whether the space feels right for you.
There is no fixed number of sessions. Some people come for a short period to focus on a specific issue, while others choose longer term work to explore deeper patterns. We can review this together as we go, depending on what feels useful for you.
Yes, confidentiality is an important part of the work. What you share will be kept private. There are some exceptions to this, which will be explained to you in our therapy agreement before therapy begins. Any such exceptions will be handled with care and transparency
I work with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and relationship issues. You do not need to arrive with a clear explanation or diagnosis. We can take time to understand what is going on and what feels important to you.
You can get in touch by phone or email to arrange an initial session. From there, we can begin to explore what you are looking for and how we might work together. There is no obligation to continue unless it feels right for you.
